Meet Dr. Sara (Yun Ae) Kim

Dr. Sara (Yun Ae) Kim graduated with her DMD from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and after making the decision to work exclusively with kids, she completed the NYU Langone Hospital-Based Pediatric Dentistry residency program.

Now as a board-certified pediatric dentist in South Portland and Auburn, Dr. Sara (Yun Ae) Kim has the knowledge to provide exceptional care for children of all ages. She supports evidence-based dentistry and follows the guidelines set by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She truly believes in prevention and takes a minimally invasive approach to treatment here at Maine Pediatric Dentistry, believing that a light touch is best. 

When not taking care of little smiles, Dr. Sara (Yun Ae) Kim is serving as adjunct faculty at the University of New England – College of Dental Medicine or hiking with her husband, toddler daughter, and two rescue dogs.
